Tortoise and the Hare
11.28.05 (5:36 am)   [edit]

& nbsp;   Have you ever heard the story of the tortoise and the hare? Well that story is quite similar to the working relationship between me and my brother. My brother, Jacob, doesn't have as hard of a time as I do through school work. Wich is great for him. But since he skates through the work he thinks he can skate through other parts of life just as easy. A few examples are: our point scores, sometimes behavior, and our guitar praticing and playing.

& nbsp;   First, comes our point scores. My brother and I earn points by helping around the house. Mostly helping pick up and clean. But Jacob slacks offs. He has a goal for one hundred and twenty points and after he reaches that he figures he has no other reason to keep earning points. The way this is similar to our story we were earlier referencing, the hare decided he was to fast and he took a nap and ended up falling behind. The difference is that my bro. just decided he would take a rest because he reached his intention.

& nbsp;   The only flaw my brother has in behavior (sometimes) is that he can be aggrivating to every body because he loves to create sound efects. The way I see it is that he feels that he is able to slack here and there because he is so ahead in the race and is very good quite often. But what he does not recongnize is that once he takes a nap the tortoise is right behind him always trying and going as fast as it can.

& nbsp;    Last, comes one of the most crutial points our guitar playing. He does not practice as much as he should, or as much as he is told. But he is a brilliant young man and will hopefully soon figure out that if he doesn't pick it up a little he will be left in the dust when I start a band. Just like the tortoise and the hare.

& nbsp;    Ofcourse I am not perfect but I try my hardest. And I know that one day Jacob will do just as good and try as hard as me and every one else. He might be the hare but I am assured that one day he will be tied with the tortoise. And they will go over the finish line together.

What If?
11.21.05 (4:58 am)   [edit]

What if, what if, what if? What if Dr. Seuss was president? What do you think would happen if Dr. Seuss was president? Heres what I know would happen.

& nbsp;  First, Dr. Seuss would have to be elected. I'm sure he would throw parties in the street and there would be crazy worlds envinted with the power of the mind and through writing. Houses would become jungles and mazes full of monkeys and forun people and animals simiular to the ones in his story books. Then finally he would get elected and then the real craziness would begin.

& nbsp;   Once he was elected and put into office he would make sure that schools all over the United States were in tip top condition in acodimics and in fun within the schools. He would be selling his books to people as often as he could. Dr. Seuss would ofcourse keep writing his stories. Most likely the Dr. would hire and pay good money for someone to make a world or two of his real so that children could realize the way one of his worlds in real life.

& nbsp;   Th ere would be issues that would efect the people of the United States. Take war for instince. Dr. Seuss would't take our country into war enless he absolutley had to. If it came to that he would get plans of action from not just the goverment afilliated peoples but also intelligant people of society. I would beleive that he would envolve people of the public (poor, rich, any kind of people) in any kind of decision that would drastically efect the State. He would try to keep the peace.

    & nbsp;    So what if? What do you think would happen if Dr. Seuss was president? What oppinion do you have. What is your what if?   &nbs p;

animal
11.07.05 (6:02 am)   [edit]

Have you ever thought of what animal you would like to be if you could be one for fourty eight hours? I do. If I could be any animal I wanted to be for fourty eight hours, I would be a snow leapord.

The reason I would pick the snow leapord is because they're so beutiful. Also, I would pick this gracious animal because it is a relative of the cat family and I fond over cats. I would pick this animal because I have always loved these cats and have always wanted to see how they live and act on a day to day basis. So this would be a perfect oportunity to learn about these interests of this particular animal that I have.

& nbsp; The animal I would choose to be is a snow leapord. I would have the chance to furfill every speculation of this specie I would want to know and be able to come back to my family and tell them of every great adventure and sight I experianced while being a snow leapord. So tell me, what animal would you be?

How the Computer Effected my Life
11.02.05 (3:53 am)   [edit]

Truthfully the computer didn't do much to effect my life. Ofcourse it's nice to have internet, and to be able to play games, and chat but it didn't make any needed  impacts on my life. The impacts it did make were: laziness, and being on a lot more than I was before. Before I wasn't on the computer near as much as I am now. Now that my family and I have a high speed conection it is fast easy and fun to be on internet. Then again the computer allows me to look up things I need to know. So another impact would be to have another conection to knowledge and being able to learn. I can look up things for school, fun, and things that I am just enterested in. So that's the only impacts that the computer has had on me.
