& nbsp; Have you ever heard the story of the tortoise and the hare? Well that story is quite similar to the working relationship between me and my brother. My brother, Jacob, doesn't have as hard of a time as I do through school work. Wich is great for him. But since he skates through the work he thinks he can skate through other parts of life just as easy. A few examples are: our point scores, sometimes behavior, and our guitar praticing and playing.
& nbsp; First, comes our point scores. My brother and I earn points by helping around the house. Mostly helping pick up and clean. But Jacob slacks offs. He has a goal for one hundred and twenty points and after he reaches that he figures he has no other reason to keep earning points. The way this is similar to our story we were earlier referencing, the hare decided he was to fast and he took a nap and ended up falling behind. The difference is that my bro. just decided he would take a rest because he reached his intention.
& nbsp; The only flaw my brother has in behavior (sometimes) is that he can be aggrivating to every body because he loves to create sound efects. The way I see it is that he feels that he is able to slack here and there because he is so ahead in the race and is very good quite often. But what he does not recongnize is that once he takes a nap the tortoise is right behind him always trying and going as fast as it can.
& nbsp; Last, comes one of the most crutial points our guitar playing. He does not practice as much as he should, or as much as he is told. But he is a brilliant young man and will hopefully soon figure out that if he doesn't pick it up a little he will be left in the dust when I start a band. Just like the tortoise and the hare.
& nbsp; Ofcourse I am not perfect but I try my hardest. And I know that one day Jacob will do just as good and try as hard as me and every one else. He might be the hare but I am assured that one day he will be tied with the tortoise. And they will go over the finish line together.
